‘Women fighting covid-19’

Damma worked in partnership with HBS Heinrich Böll, Middle East, in Beirut, on a project seeking to support the Women’s Struggle Against Coronavirus, which aimed to build women's networks and activate their role in community work. Four feminist community teams works as community service providers in the refugee community in the country. Beqaa-Lebanon, the project targeted 40 women, who were trained to be trainers and providers of health advisory services and psychosocial support. The total beneficiaries of the project were 120 women.

Women play an essential role in responding to emergencies and global pandemics.
